'Animal' wins best short film award in Izmir

Tehran, Nov. 12 (MNA) – ‘Animal’ by Bahman and Bahram Ark won the best short film award at Izmir Short Film Festival, Turkey.

‘Animal’, a short film directed by Bahman and Bahram Ark won the best short film award in 18th Izmir Short film festival in competition with ‘Limbo’ and ‘Eight Minutes’, which won the second and the third best awards respectively. 

Izmir Film Festival, which is a member of the European festivals association, screens short films from all over the world. Fiction, documentary, animation and experimental films that are 30 minutes maximum compete in national and international categories. 'Dispirited' by Alaleh Izadi was another Iranian short film that vied in the competition section.

18th Izmir short film festival was held from 7 to 12 November in Izmir, Turkey.
